This view of Moraine Lake and the Wenkchemna Peaks from the Rockpile is one of the most celebrated in all of Canada, at one time appearing on the back of the twenty-dollar bill. Though the tens of thousands of visitors per year may make this view commonly seen, it is never seems commonplace. It is actually more spectacular than many backcountry destinations, and it is fortunate that so many have been able to see it.
