The trail through Johnston Canyon is one of the most heavily travelled in Banff, and for good reason. It gives good views of some seven waterfalls of various character, often hanging to the cliffs with bolts and in one place actually tunneling through rock. This awesome cave and riverbend, a few kilometers up the river, is easy to miss from the trail above.

This is a Photoshop compsite of two frames of different exposure, which helped keep the contrast down somewhat. Even so, parts are still overexposed enough that I may not be able to print it to my satisfaction.
